About CECAW, Competitive Exams Coaching Academy for Women is an initiative of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha. The whole objective of this idea is to create a women work-force in the Public Service sector. “CECAW” is committed to providing the best-ever training and mentorship in an inter-disciplinary institutional structure. There are dedicated courses that are designed according to the needs of aspirants. We believe that these courses would open the vast world of opportunities in the public services sector.

About MKSSS
Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS) was established in the year 1896, by Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve. This was the era when girls were denied education by the society. He established MKSSS with an aim of Empowering of Women through Education. His visionary work started with just four widows and today 32000+ girl students are seeking education under various streams of MKSSS. Presently, we have 14 campuses in all at Pune, Wai, Satara, Nagpur, Kamshet and Ratnagiri. In total 72 educational units are run in these campuses.
MKSSS started its educational journey for women from school education. At present, it runs Marathi medium and English medium schools through its campuses at Karvenagar, Erandwane, Pune University, Narhe and Vadgaon Sheri campuses of Pune and at Wai and Satara. It runs 4 Vision English Medium Schools at Narhe, Vadgaon Sheri, Wai and Satara.
MKSSS stepped into the field of higher education in the year 1990 by starting college in Arts and Commerce stream. After that the Samstha never looked back and started higher education institutes in the field of Engineering, Architecture, MBA, Information Technology, Fashion Technology, Nursing, Vocational Training, Skill Education, Laser Technology, Language Institute, etc. All the institutes have gained reputation in their respective fields.
MKSSS offers hostel facility separately for school students, higher education students, and working women. Hostel facility enables us to reach the students from distant as well as remote and rural areas.
Social responsibility of MKSSS includes Scholarships to impoverished and deserving students, hostel for the girls recommended by Child Welfare Committee, “Earn-n-Learn” scheme for under privileged students above 18 years at Sampada Bakery and Tribal Residential School at Kamshet.
Green Energy projects of MKSSS include Solar Power Systems, Rainwater Harvesting Systems, Biogas Plant, Water Purification Plant, Sewage & Grey Water Treatment Plants at its campuses.
Objectives
- Educate Girl students to be compassionate and effective leaders who humanely manage public originations.
- Create a Collaborative environment of excellence in instruction, research, and service.
- Prepare female students to determine, collect, and analyse the evidence which are appropriate and essential for implementing public service strategies
